- Habit Red Wine 2014 Santa Ynez – California
California – Bordeaux Blend from Santa Ynez Valley in California. The Blend is 46% Cabernet Franc, 27%Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Petit Verdot. Pretty notes of violet hover above a core of red cherry, boysenberry and black currant, with a little green peppercorn carrying through to the earthy finish full of texture. Since Bordeaux red blends are often quite structured and tannic, they pair best with hearty, flavorful and fatty meat dishes. Any type of steak makes for a classic pairing. Equally welcome with these wines would be beef brisket, pot roast, braised lamb or smoked duck.
- Mas de Gourgonnier 2015 Les Baux de Provence – France
A richly flavored red with warm, round tones of sandalwood, chocolate and caramel coat the tongue with hints of nutmeg and black pepper. Ripe, round tannins provide beautiful definition without being too bold. The blend consists of 35% Grenache, 18% Syrah, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 24% Carignan. When people talk seriously about “natural” wines, they talk about the organic wines of Mas de Gourgonnier. In the heart of Provence in the 1970s, this family estate was one of the first officially certified organic wineries
- Corazon de Sol 2013 Soleado Luco Valley – Mendoza Argentina
Bordeaux blend, hand harvested and individually sorted from the “Revan Vineyard” and fermented separately with the objective to produce a blend with bold elegance. This wine opens up with aromas of cacao, plums and black currant, on the palate fresh ripe raspberries, black cherry and a hint of casis and pepper. Corazon del sol crafts captivating Malbec and Grenache-based wines that capture the best of Argentina’s unique, high altitude terroir. Cultivated in the Uco Valley, which is situated in Mendoza on the eastern side of the Andes Mountains, our vines enjoy over 300 days of sunshine a year.

- Zeitgeist Trousseau Gris 2016 – California
Beautiful minerality lends a balanced texture to the wine while citrus zest and the suggestion of clean wet stone make the wine glide over your palate. Pressed lightly to avoid any bitterness, the juice is transferred to stainless steel barrels and neutral French oak barrels. Only 438 cases of this vintage were produced. Trousseau Gris is a native French wine grape also known as Gray Riesling in California.
